Seether visited The Marquee Theater in Tempe, Arizona on stop #26 of their Poison the Parish Tour. It was a packed house, that also included Omaha’s Through Fire, and Detroit’s Kaleido.
Kaleido recently released their 3rd album Experience last month, I say 3rd because they have two previous releases of 7 or more songs. Others call this their debut album. Kaleido stole the show, packed with songs that included “Die Tryin’” and “Unbreakable” to reggae infused pop track “Trouble in Paradise.” Continuing with “No More Little Miss Nice Bitch.”
Christina Chriss owned the night with her Gwyn Stefani-like personality and incredible vocals. The highlight of the set for me was a cover of “My Michelle” from Chriss’ favorite band, Guns ‘N’ Roses, with a short drum solo tossed in by Joey Fava for good measure. Zach Bolling and Ronnie Rosolino on guitars took care of the rest, effortlessly. If you weren’t at the show, you you need to check them out when they are in a town near you.
